IPL 2025 Final revelations and schedules are out, and Chennai Super Kings are about to clash with Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers’ Bangalore twice this year. It would be the first time since 2023 that high-stake playoffs are to be witnessed by cricket fans. Captain of Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya, would miss out on the first meeting on March 23 in Chennai.
CSK to Play Rivals RCB and MI Twice in Upcoming IPL Season

- Late evening battle and the doubleheader are scheduled on the second day of the competition, i.e. , March 23.
- MI will contest on April 20 in the return leg of the game.
- Captain of Mumbai Indians, Hardik Pandya, about to miss out on fixtures due to the one-match ban he surfaces. The ban was imposed after he was caught guilty of overrate offence in the 2024 league thrice.
Group Format and Key IPL 2025 Fixtures
Chennai Super Kings is set to play their initial four games out of six at home. They would further host the competitor's RCB in the second game held on March 28th.
- CSK is scheduled for the return leg trip to Bengaluru on 3rd May 2025. The schedule format is curated by dividing the 10 IPL teams into Group 1 and Group 2.
- IPL teams are bifurcated into two groups post its expansion after 2022. In this, the 1st Group comprises of teams like RR, KKR, CSK, and PKBS.
- Group 2 will consist of IPL contenders DC, SRH, LSG, MI and GT.
- The format mentions that the first team in any group will face off against another one by seeding it twice.
- Both teams will then play against four teams of the opposite group to curate the list of 14 league games.
KKR to Host RCB in the IPL 2025 Opener on March 22
As claimed in reports, the thrilling cricket celebration league comprising of players from all top national squads will commence on March 22nd. Kolkata Knight Riders to begin the first match against RCB at home ground.
Eden Gardens in Kolkata is also going to witness the finale schedules on May 25, and Qualifier 2 will be hosted on May 23. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium of Hyderabad will host the Eliminator on May 21 and Qualifier 1 on May 20.
