No Stokes As England Make Four Changes

Plenty of parallels have been drawn between the 2005 Ashes series and this summer's Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy and just as the teams did 20 years ago, it is the hosts who will arrive in south London leading 2-1 and requiring just a draw to secure the series.
But one area which has changed is the managing of player's loads and whereas in 2005 England used only 12 players across the five games and used just 11 over the first four games, the home team have chopped and changed their bowling line-up throughout this series.
India have done the same, with Jasprit Bumrah requiring managing to avoid further injuries and he will not be appearing in this final Test at The Oval which begins on Thursday.
England Make Four Changes Ahead Of The Oval Test
Following the draw at Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday, there are some tired limbs on both sides and England have made four changes, three in the bowling department and another in the all-rounder spot where captain Ben Stokes has to miss out with a shoulder injury.
| OUT | IN |
| Ben Stokes | Jacob Bethell |
| Jofra Archer | Gus Atkinson |
| Brydon Carse | Josh Tongue |
| Liam Dawson | Jamie Overton |
No Stokes
The biggest loss for England is of course their skipper Ben Stokes who is the leading wicket taker in the series, hit 141 in Manchester and went on to win the Player of the Match Award for the second game in a row!
Ollie Pope will deputise at his home ground, where he did the same thing last year but led England to a heavy defeat against Sri Lanka. A Stokes-less England is rarely as strong and betting opportunities to back India to win the match and secure the series seem a lot more appealing now.
We Await The India XI
India will definitely be without Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant so the squad will have to dig deep if they are to win the match and level the series.
Shubman Gill has been in fine form and if he can continue churning out centuries then India have a fantastic chance. You can back him and other players across various Special Bets in this thrilling final match of the series.
