England vs India - Preview
Since the beginning of the 2nd Test, Team India looked well balanced, and their strategy to dominate the Bazball with the bat came out as a success. Skipper Shubman Gill made his first double century and ended up in the innings very close to a triple century. On the bowling front, Mohammad Siraj dominated the first innings with the ball, and Aakash Deep gave the finishing touch in the 2nd innings. The deadly combination of these two pacers is an indication that Team India can rely on different options in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah.
England also controlled the 2nd Test with the bat, but they failed to repeat their momentum in the 2nd inning. However, one thing that should be noted is that England has an unpredictable top order, which has failed to score runs. The failure of their top order gives immense pressure to the middle order, and we saw the result of the same in the 2nd innings.
