The Band-e-Amir Dragons' poor run of form continues as they have now lost two matches in a row this season. After a disappointing outing with the bat against the Amo Sharks in their season opener, the Dragons failed to chase down 181 runs against the Speen Ghar Tigers.
Bowling first, the Dragons conceded a score of 180/7 in 20 overs. Izharulhaq Naveed was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/33, while Nangeyalia Kharote bowled one of the best spells of the tournament, conceding just 8 runs in his 4 overs at an exceptional economy rate of 2.00 runs per over while picking up one wicket.
Allah Ghazanfar also bowled a tight line and length to finish with figures of 1/28. However, two of the other three bowlers leaked runs at an economy of more than 15 runs per over, and another conceded 11 runs per over. These expensive overs had a massive impact on the Dragons' poor outing with the ball.
Chasing a target of 181, the Dragons' response started terribly as they lost both openers inside the first 3 overs. Hashmatullah Shahidi (23 runs), Haroon Khan (25 runs), and Rahmanullah consolidated the innings in the middle overs, but their strike rates were far too slow to keep up with the required rate.
Azizullah Miakhil tried valiantly in the death overs, smashing a quickfire 30 runs off just 17 balls, but his efforts came too late. The Dragons were eventually bowled out for 158 runs in 19.4 overs, handing the Tigers a comfortable 22-run victory.

The Mis Ainak Knights performed well last season, finishing the league stages in 2nd place with 10 points from 8 matches, recording 5 wins and 3 losses. They then made it to the finals but lost to the Amo Sharks courtesy of some really poor batting.
Heading into this season, the Knights appointed Rahmanullah Gurbaz as the skipper of the side. Gurbaz recently smashed the fastest hundred by an Afghanistani batter against India. Last season, Gurbaz scored 162 runs in 6 matches for the Knights.
Wafiullah Tarakhil was the leading run-scorer in the 2025 season with 298 runs in 9 matches, and alongside him, Khalid Taniwal scored 279 runs in 9 matches, averaging 34.87. All three of these batters can strike at well over 150 and are vital for the Knights to post a huge total on the board at the top.
Nasir Jamal, Mohammad Nabi, and Farmanullah form the core of the middle order. All three are dangerous batters who can score quick runs when needed and are also handy with the ball, providing great balance to the team.
In the bowling department, the mystery spin of Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who chipped in with 13 wickets last season, and Khalil Gurbaz, with 11 wickets, really set the tone for the other bowlers last season and will look to continue the same this time around.
Farmanullah and Naveed Zadran are the other two pace bowling options that the Knights can rely on in the middle overs, alongside the experience of Mohammad Nabi in the spin department.

Toss Prediction: Band-e Amir Dragons to win the coin toss
It is going to be an even contest between two sides vying for their first win of the season; while the Mis Ainak Knights are yet to play a match, the Band-e-Amir Dragons have already lost both of theirs. Looking at the team combinations and overall balance, the Mis Ainak Knights hold a slight edge with the ball, which could well become the difference-maker between these two sides. Therefore, we are backing the Mis Ainak Knights to win this match.
