After two games of this series, it is South Africa who have already taken the series and will arrive in Southampton for the third and final ODI with a 2-0 lead.
Hosts England, who were thrashed by seven wickets with 175 balls remaining in the first match at Headingley and by five runs in the second at Lord's, look like a team who are already running out of steam after a hectic few months of non-stop internationals as well as The Hundred.
This game will be Ben Duckett's last of the home summer and he will get some rest ahead of a white-ball series in New Zealand and the Ashes down under.
As for South Africa, they are flying with their self-belief growing game by game.

There were fine performances from England in defeat on Thursday with Jofra Archer (4/62) and Adil Rashid (2/33) both impressing from their ten over stints.
Equally, with the bat, three of England's players, Joe Root, Jacob Bethell and Jos Buttler, all made half-centuries, but none of those five performances were sufficient to win the match.
In this game at Southampton, the role of the fifth bowler, shared between Will Jacks and Bethell will be crucial. Pick up some key wickets then England will be in a strong position, leak plenty of runs and it could be a home series white-wash defeat.
This is an England team who only know how to attack but at the moment, in ODIs at least, they only know how to lose!

South Africa will once again be without Tony de Zorzi at the top of the order but they still have a mighty fine top six with the talented Corbin Bosch at number seven!
Of the top seven, only captain Temba Bavuma failed to make double figures and the other six contributed scores of between 32 and 85 with Matthew Breetzke starring, hitting seven fours and three sixes.
With the ball, only Aiden Markram went wicketless with his two overs of spin costing 27 runs!
But in Nandre Burger and Lungi Ngidi, South Africa have an aggressive opening pair and Keshav Maharaj provides consistency in wicket taking and economy rate.

There will be a high temperature of 21 degrees in this game but it will not be a particularly sunny day in Southampton. Cloudy conditions, with a bit of rain in the morning, will dominate.

This pitch in Southampton is often a little bit too paced and so batters will need to get a feel for the conditions before teeing off. A par score will be no higher than 310.
There could be some light rain around during the morning of this game so we predict that both teams and captains will want to bowl first ahead of this third ODI.
England had improved in the second game of the series but they still appear a little disjointed and tired in this format. As a result, we are expecting South Africa to take the series 3-0.
