With substitutions dominating the headlines, and the table-toppers Somerset using 13 players in their win over Essex last week, the County Championship has certainly returned and is dominating the newspaper columns in the UK!
Many overseas will be following the Indian Premier League and the Pakistan Super League, but in the UK, the devotees of County Cricket have been served a feast of action across the opening fortnight.
Despite there being Sussex who have won both games, they are not even in the top two of the division with Somerset at the top and Nottinghamshire in second.
Hampshire are 12 points behind their opponents and nine points above bottom of the pile Yorkshire.

After their opening game defeat by an innings and 137 runs against Essex, Hampshire needed to respond and they did so in fine fashion last week when they travelled north to the historic Headingley.
On a pitch which wasn't easy to bat on in the first two innings of the game, and after being asked to bat first, 43 from opener Nick Gubbins and 76 from Australian Jake Lehmann were crucial in a total of 251.
The bowlers then took over with the timeless Kyle Abbott taking 4/49 while young Englishman Sonny Baker took 4/45.
Gubbins, Tom Prest, Lehmann and skipper Ben Brown all went big in the second innings and all are capable of making large scores in this clash.

Never before has a team utilised 13 different batters across a County Championship game but that was what happened to Somerset in their easy win by ten wickets against Essex in Chelmsford last week.
The two players who came into the side, Will Smeed and Archie Vaughan, may well hold onto their places and both are extremely talented batters at the top of the order.
James Rew continues to produce plenty of top class innings with the bat, while Craig Overton remains capable of destructive lower order hitting to bolster any total.
With the ball, expect Migael Pretorius, Jack Leach and Jake Ball to be the main threats for Somerset.

It is still only the start of spring in the UK and despite being one of the most southerly venues, the temperature will not go above 16 degrees throughout this match.
The Rose Bowl will always do something for the spinners later on in the game but generally is a good place for batting. A par score in the first innings of the game will be around 300.
With the weather conditions expected to brighten up and warm up as the week progresses, we expect both teams will want to bowl first and use the overhead conditions on day one.
