M Mohammed’s side would be under pressure going into their third game of the season. Their first game was washed out and the side suffered a 16-run loss in the last game against the Salem Spartans. This is a must-win game for the team to improve its position on the points table and Mohammed would want his players to show their character here. 

S Dinesh and N Mohammed Ashik looked in poor form in the last game and the side would need a solid start from them here. In the middle order Maan Bafna, S Aravind and P Francis Rokins will have to anchor the innings. Rokins looked in good form in the last game and shall have to do the big hitting towards the end of the game with Tushar Raheja and M Mohammed. 

They would expect early wickets in the game from R Rajkumar and Thamarai Kannan as they will be up against a strong batting line-up. Consecutive losses has hurt the campaign for Hari Nishanth’s side. They were below their standards in the last game against the Nellai Royal Kings losing it by 5 wickets. Only 1 point separates them from the next four teams and hence they must win this one to book a berth in the next round. 

Hari Nishanth and MS Sanjay went out cheaply in the last game and they need to do well here and put runs on the board. The middle order is looking in good form with Mani Bharathi, Rajhamany Srinivasan and R Vivek scoring runs. The side would also like to see runs from RS Mokit Hariharan and S Swaminathan in the finishers’ role. 

They bowled poorly in the last game and early wickets would be expected from M Silambarasan and Rangaraj Suthesh. S Swaminathan and Lakshminarayanan Vignesh will have to check the flow of runs in the middle overs for the side. Tight bowling would also be expected from MS Sanjay and Gurjapneet Singh.
