India Under-19 produced a dominant all-round performance to thrash UAE Under-19 by a massive 234 runs in the first match of the tournament. Batting first, India piled up a huge 433/6 in 50 overs, led by a sensational knock from Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
The left-hander smashed 171 off just 95 balls, striking boundaries at will and completely controlling the innings. He was well supported by Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra, who both scored fluent 69s, while the middle and lower order added quick runs to keep the scoring rate high throughout.
Defending the total, India’s bowlers were disciplined and consistent. Deepesh Devendran and Khilan Patel bowled tight spells, while the rest of the attack chipped in with wickets and dot balls. UAE were restricted to 199/7, never threatening the target, as India sealed a comprehensive and commanding victory.

He will be supported by Abdul Subhan, who has taken nine wickets in his last five matches and faces a tough challenge against India’s strong batting lineup.
