Jammu and Kashmir Womens Preview

J&K Women started the tournament on a high note, defeating Tamil Nadu by 7 wickets in their opening match.  J&K Women got a target of 240 runs in this match, in which Shambhavi Rajput scored 85 runs in 98 balls and Chitra Singh played a brilliant innings of 71 runs in 109 balls and helped the team win by seven wickets.

Apart from this, Bismah Hassan proved to be the best bowler against Tamil Nadu, as she took two wickets for 20 runs in 9 overs. While Mahika Singh Rana also took two wickets for 55 runs in 10 overs.

J&K Women won their last match by bowling first, while the last match played at this venue was also won by Himachal Women while bowling first. Hence, J&K Women would like to continue their excellent performance and bowl first.

Jasia Akhtar can once again perform brilliantly, having scored 402 runs at an average of 80.40 in the eight matches played last season. Bismah Hassan will definitely be a good bowler to watch out for, as she took 11 wickets in the 6 matches in the last season.

Jammu and Kashmir Womens Predicted Playing XI:

Sanjana, Bawandeep Kaur, Chirta Singh Jamwal, Shambhavi Rajput, Rubia Syed, Sandhya, Bismah Hassan, Ruqiya Amin, Mahima Singh Rana, Sarla Devi, Jasia Akhter (c).

Jharkhand Womens Preview

Jharkhand did not have a good start to the tournament, as they lost their opening match against Andhra by five wickets. In the last match, Jharkhand scored 143 runs while batting first, in which wicketkeeper batsman Megha's 32 runs in 68 balls and Shikha's 37 runs in 51 balls were the biggest contributions. Apart from them, the rest of the batsmen failed to perform well.

In bowling, Jharkhand needed early breakthroughs to defend the total, which they were not fully successful in. Andhra's small partnerships knocked them out of the game.

However, Devyani bowled brilliantly, taking three wickets for 33 runs in eight overs. Vrishti Kumari also performed well, taking one wicket for 26 runs in 10 overs. Jharkhand is expected to make a successful comeback in the next match.

Jharkhand won all four games while chasing last season, so they want to avoid batting first next game. Moreover, Mamta Paswan can do well for the team. She took 11 wickets in the six matches in the last season.

Jharkhand Womens Predicted Playing XI:

Shashi Mathur (c), Kumari Palak, Priyanka Luthra, Megha, Durga Marmu, Ahswani, Shikha, Khushbu Kumari, Vrishti Kumari, Devyani, Mamta Paswan.

Weather Conditions

On the matchday, the sky will be expected to be sunny. There will be no possibility of any weather changes during the match time. With the morning being a bit humid, the medium pacers will be more likely to make an impact in the match early on.

JKR-W vs JKD-W Pitch Report

The surface at the ACA Cricket Academy Ground in North Guwahati offers a slower surface. Here the spinners and medium pacers are more likely to dominate in the match.  However, as the match progresses, there are more chances that conditions will become favourable for the batters. Moreover, the average score at this venue is around 176 runs.

Toss: To Bowl

If we look at the records of the matches played here in this tournament, the bowling team has managed to win the matches here. Here, due to the slow pitch in the beginning, the bowlers get good help from the surface, but as the match progresses, the batsmen also start making a good comeback; hence, the captain winning the toss will most likely choose to bowl first.

J&K Women have started the tournament with excellent performance, whereas Jharkhand's performance has not been anything special so far. However, both teams have won four out of their last five matches, which shows their excellent form. Therefore, considering the current form of J & K Women, they have more chances of winning this match, although Jharkhand Women have the ability to also surprise them.
