The game between England and Scotland turned out to be the first abandoned game of the T20 World Cup 2024. But Scotland's batting unit showed their strength by scoring 90 runs in the only 10 overs that were bowled before the game was called off. Openers George Munsey & Michael Jones scored unbeaten 41 & 45 runs respectively. As a result, Scotland got their first point in the T20 World Cup 2024.

For Group B, Namibia is currently leading the points table with two points while Scotland is in the joint second position with England.

Namibia will be high on confidence after registering their first win. Michael van Lingen will open the innings with Nikolaas Davin.
