Quite often during a home summer, a venue has only one chance to host an international, but fortunately for Christchurch, they get the chance to go again on Monday, particularly needed for the city after Saturday's opener was washed out after just 20 overs of action.
Those 20 overs were all in England's batting innings so there was no rest for New Zealand's bowlers but equally no action for the tourist's bowlers who would have wanted a go on the green-top.
New Zealand will feel that they were in the driving seat at the halfway stage on Saturday and they will want to show they are a more consistent and quality side compared to England in this clash.
Strap yourselves in, there are only two games left in this series.

There may have been no opportunity for any of the batters to show off their skills in Christchurch on Saturday, but New Zealand's bowlers showed that they are a formidable unit with the ball in hand in the opening T20I.
All six of the bowlers used - Matt Henry, Jacob Duffy, Kyle Jamieson and skipper Mitchell Santner who all bowled four overs - and James Neesham and Michael Bracewell who sent down two overs each, took one wicket, and this bowling attack is varied and accurate.
Expect Henry to lead the attack once again, whereas the batting is likely to be reliant on Tim Seifert at the top of the order before the powerhouses of Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell take over during the middle overs.
This is a strong New Zealand side!

England posted 153/6 in their 20 overs with the bat on Saturday but it could have been a whole lot worse were it not for all-rounder Sam Curran who made 49 not out from 35 balls at number six!
More will be expected from the big names in the top four positions in this game - Phil Salt, Jos Buttler, Jacob Bethell and Harry Brook - while Tom Banton and Jordan Cox who sandwich Curran in the order, also need to make big scores to secure their places in the side.
England's bowlers were well rested on Saturday so should be read to go hard in this game although the extra break for the likes of Brydon Carse will be welcome ahead of a busy winter down-under.

After a dry Sunday in Christchurch, there is some rain in the forecast once again on Monday. Overall it should be dry though with the temperature in the high teens throughout.
As we saw on Saturday, there is an early-season green-tinge in this pitch at Hagley Oval and accurate pace bowling will get its reward. A par total is around 175+.
New Zealand won the toss in Saturday's opening game of the series and chose to bowl first so we predict that both sides will want to do so once more in this T20I.
