00.0Brno Rangers’ big test against Prague Barbarians Vandals
Prague Barbarians Vandals to win
Tournament: Czech Super Series T10 League | Format: T10 | Venue: Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague | Toss: To Bat
Bet NowIt will be the last game on Day 1 of the Championship Weekend at the Czech Republic T10 Super Series where the Prague Barbarians Vandals shall be up against the Brno Rangers. This would be the second game of the day for both the sides and they would have good idea about the conditions. In their respective group games both the sides had dominated with Rangers staying undefeated while the Vandals lost one game by a small margin.
Brno Rangers are a young side and have several good players in their squad. Their bowling attack is strong and led them to most of the wins last weekend. The Vandals’ batting line-up is strong and has several hard hitters of the ball. This game has the right ingredients to turn into a contest between Vandals’ batting and Rangers’ bowling attack. The stakes would be high for both the sides and this would make the game a treat to watch.
Pradeep Gangappa would be fairly confident going into this game. They have so far looked good with the bat and have also done well with the ball. With several players who have represented the nation on their side the skipper would want them to stick to their natural game which should hold them in good stead.
They have the strongest batting line-up in the tournament with openers Honey Gori and Sabawoon Davizi being in good form. The side will look for a good start from the. Divyendra Singh has also been hitting the ball beautifully. Down the order Gangappa, Andrew Sim and Pradeep Balakrishnan bring in good hitting abilities to the table and complete a very strong line-up for the team.
Their bowlers didn’t quite bowl to the plan in the last few games and shall look to make amends here. Gori and Sabawoon Davizi shall look to exploit the weakness Rangers have in their top order. They have good depth in their bowling with Sagar Madhireddy, Divyendra Singh and Jafar Stooman in the mix.

Naveed Ahmed’s side has done well to qualify into the championship weekend but this game would be a real test for them. They have a good bowling attack and would be up against the strongest batting line-up of the tournament. The skipper would want better show from his batsmen as they haven’t been consistent so far.
Somesekhar Banerjee and Tripurari Kanhya Lal need to provide the side with a good start. They have failed on most occasions at the top and can’t afford it any more. They must lay a good platform for the likes of Vikram Padigala, Ushan Gunathilake, Dylan Steyn and Naveed Ahmed to free their arms towards the death of their innings.
Their bowlers have had great fun so far in the tournament and have bowled the side to several wins. Tripurari Kanhya Lal, Rahat Ali and Naveed Ahmed have been the pick of the bowlers in the tournament. Vikram Padigala and Somsuvro Basu add to the bowling depth and shall look to make it tough for the Vandals to score.

Prague would see overcast skies on July 11 and there might be rains during the game. In the earlier games played here the pitch has been good one to bat on where ball has come onto the bat nicely. There is some assistance for the fast bowlers in the early overs. Anything above 80 runs would be difficult to chase here.
Vinor Cricket Ground is a small venue with thing grass cover on the outfield. Batsmen don’t score too many runs here playing ground strokes but those with the ability to hit the ball long have enjoyed great success here. It has been a happy hunting ground for the fast bowlers though spinners have had horrible times out here.
The decision at the toss shouldn’t been too much of a challenge for the two captains. The sides batting first have gone on to win the last 8 out of 10 games that have been played here. It isn’t the best venue to chase a score and hence we believe the side that wins the toss would decide to bat first.
The game is expected to be a good contest. The Brno Rangers have done well with the ball and have troubled their opponents with good depth in their bowling attack. Their batting is their weak point with the top order having failed in most of the games. The Prague Barbarians Vandals on the other hand have done well with the bat and the ball. They have seasoned players in their squad who are good at handling pressure and this will put the side nose ahead of the Rangers in this contest.
