Prague Spartans Vanguards to win
Tournament: Czech Super Series T10 League | Format: T10 | Venue: Vinor Cricket Ground, Prague | Toss: To Bat
Bet NowIn the third game of the Championship Weekend at the Czech Republic T10 Super Series the Prague Barbarians Vandals would be taking on the Brno Rangers. This will be the second game for the Vanguards in the day and they would have good idea about the pitch conditions which the side would look to use to its advantage. The Rangers on the other hand haven’t faced a defeat so far and this will add to their confidence.
The Prague Spartans Vanguards have several national players in their ranks and this would give them confidence. In a high pressure contest these players would be able to play their natural game. The Brno Rangers also have few exciting players in their squad who have done well so far especially their bowlers. All these set up for the most interesting contest of the day.
This will be the second game of the day for Neeraj Tyagi’s side and one that is likely to challenge his side the most. The Rangers are a good side especially with the ball and the skipper would look for a good show from his batsmen. The side has several experienced players in its ranks and they will look forward to putting their best performance here.
Batting looks solid at the moment with Kranthi Venkataswamy and Satyajit Sengupta opening for them. Sengupta was their best performer in the league games. In the middle order Prasanna Ganesan has been consistent and shall look to carry on with the form. Down the order the side has Parth Bhalodiya, Tyagi and Vysakh Jagannivasan who can score quick runs in the game.
They have a good bowling attack and having got a hang of the wicket the side would look at Tyagi to inflict early damages on the opponents. Sengupta and Suhaib Wani also bowled well in the group games and they will look to repeat similar shows with the ball. In Farooq Shaik and Prasanna Ganesan the side has good depth in its bowling.

It was a good show from Naveed Ahmed’s side in Group 4 where they overcame all the challenges presented to them. They won all their games in the league stage against Brno Raiders, Brno Raptors and Moravian CC before defeating the Raiders by 43 runs in the finals. The side would be extremely confident going into its first game of the championship weekend.
In the batting department openers Somesekhar Banerjee and Tripurari Kanhya Lal haven’t been consistent an area of concern for them. They need to fire at the top in this game. Middle order looks string with Ushan Gunathilake, Vikram Padigala, Naveed Ahmed and Dylan Steyn having big shots in their kitty.
Their bowlers come into this game having won most of the games for the side. Rahat Ali, Tripurari Kanhya Lal and Ahmed have bowled superbly in all the games played so far and would look to cause trouble for the Vanguards. They would also expect good support from the likes of Somsuvro Basu and Vikram Padigala in this game.

The weather predictions doesn’t look at that promising as there are predictions for rains on July 11 at Prague. The skies would remain overcast. We expect the pitch to be good one to bat on as we have already seen in this tournament. But the conditions would also favor the bowlers. The side that bats first will eye a score in the range of 80 runs in this game.
A small and beautiful venue the Vinor Cricket Ground has lush green outfield and this makes it a challenge for the batsmen to score boundaries kissing the turf. The small size of the ground does offer scoring opportunities to the big hitters. Fast bowlers do find good bounce and carry from the surface but spinners haven’t enjoyed much success here.
It shouldn’t be much of a difficult decision for the two captains when they come out for toss in this game. In the last 10 games played here we have seen the sides batting first emerged as winners on 8 occasions. Hence the side that wins the toss is likely to bat first in this game.
This is going to be one of the games to watch out for the day given the kind of skills both the sides bring to the table. Brno Rangers are coming into this game with great amount of confidence after their performance in the group stage and will look to carry on from where they left. The Prague Spartans Vanguards are definitely the stronger side on paper having several national players in their squad. With more experience in handling pressure they would be nose ahead of the Rangers going into this contest.
