Former champions Bengal Warriors are witnessing a drop in intensity mid-season. After winning 3 matches, they were forced to settle for a TIE in 2 games and then they have lost consecutive matches. The Bengal Warriors have the best defense in the tournament, but they suffer whenever their opponents are able to trap Maninder Singh. This reduces their raiding efficiency and they either lose the match or settle for a TIE.

The last day of 2023 may bring out some exciting performances from both teams. Gujarat Giants are the favorites in this contest as they have been consistent. Both will have to work hard to earn points from the Bengal defenders. All-rounder Rohit Gulia may be the surprise package for the Gujarat Giants. Captain Fazel Attrachali will target his counter-part Maninder Singh along with the support of defender Sombir. They will be able to slow down Maninder and Srikant Jadhav.
