There are many great parts of a five-Test match series, not only the ups and downs which are inevitably experienced by both sides but the sub-plots, head to heads and individual performances which can propel an individual into 'legend' status.
And these five-matches are no different with England leading the series 2-1 but they are still yet to get their hands on the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy!
Great showings with the bat have been plentiful but that has also meant some incredible bowling displays.
Ahead of the fifth Test which begins on Thursday, let's look at who tops the charts!

It is England who lead the series 2-1, but the top four run-scorers in the series are all India players!
Four players have made more than one century in the series but it is the India skipper, who has hit four tons so far, who has been the most impressive with the willow in hand.

Ben Stokes has been every inch what cricket fans expect to see from the England skipper and although his body was starting to show signs of discomfort in Manchester, he is expected to play at The Oval as he looks to not only win the series for his team but also to take the top wicket taker title.
