The most exciting time of Indian cricket is coming back. The Indian fans are getting ready for the thrilling IPL mega auction. The franchises are all set to search for some incredible talents all over the country and even at international levels. Before the auction, Jammu & Kashmir grabbed the attention. Among every other state in India, they registered 15 players for the IPL mega auction. 

After wrapping up the 2024 edition of the tournament, the IPL is preparing for the next edition. Before that, the cricket world will witness another thrilling IPL mega auction. Jeddah is hosting the iconic event on November 24 and 25th. A total of 574 players registered themselves in the mega auction. IPL betting enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the auction to place their bets on their favorite teams and players.

10 IPL teams already announced their retention list. Now they are all set to make a mighty squad ahead of the IPL 2025. Before stepping into the mega auction, Jammu & Kashmir grabbed attention. In the IPL mega auction, 15 players from Jammu and Kashmir will be hoping to attract the franchises. This marks a noticeable increase in representation from the region.

The growing number of shortlisted players highlights the region’s rising presence in Indian cricket. In IPL 2024, nine players from J&K were included in the auction, while 10 were shortlisted in the IPL 2022 mega auction.

J & K Players in IPL Mega Auction 2025

In recent times, Jammu & Kashmir witnessed a rapid rise in cricket. It also affected the mega-auction. 15 players from the region registered in the upcoming mega event. Along with Umran Maik, Abid Mushtaq, and Rasikh Salam Dar, some other incredible talents are all set to grab the attention. 

Umran Malik stands out among the Jammu and Kashmir players, entering the auction with a base price of 75 lakh, the highest from the region. Abdul Samad, another prominent player, has a base price of 30 lakh. The squad from J&K features a mix of talent, including six all-rounders, seven bowlers, and two specialist batsmen.

The all-rounders, priced at ₹30 lakh, include Abdul Samad, Vivrant Sharma, Nasir Lone, Yudhvir Singh Charak, Auqib Nabi Dar, and Abid Mushtaq. Specialist batsmen Shubham Khajuria and Musaif Ajaz also share the same base price. The bowlers’ lineup boasts Umran Malik, Rasikh Salam, Atif Mushtaq, Mujtaba Yousuf, Avinash Singh, Kunal Singh Chibb, and Murugan Ashwin, showcasing the region’s diverse cricketing talent.
