After four games of the 2025 ILT20, the table is already starting to take shape with the Desert Vipers at the top with two wins from two and three sides at the bottom of the pile who have all lost their opener.

Dubai Capitals had the honour of opening the 2025 ILT20 tournament but were unable to defend their total of 150/8 and were beaten by Desert Vipers by four wickets with six balls remaining.
There is plenty of talent in the batting line up with a powerhouse and experienced middle order of David Willey, Rovman Powell and Mohammad Nabi before Dasun Shanaka comes in.
But the top of the order is inexperienced with Sediqullah Atal and Shayan Jahangir opening before internationals Gulbadin Naib and Jordan Cox come to the crease.
Bowling wise, expect Scott Currie and Waqar Salamkheil to be threatening with David Willey and Mohammad Nabi offering plenty of skills with the new ball.

Gulf Giants look likely to be one of the teams to beat in this year's ILT20 and it would be a surprise if they fail to progress from the group stage and they could maybe go the whole way!
Any team in world cricket would benefit from having Pathum Nissanka at the top of their order and he continued his brilliant recent form with 81 runs from 42 balls against MI Emirates, an innings which got the team off to a brilliant start.
Moeen Ali, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Azmatullah Omarzai make up a talented top five.
With the ball, Omarzai and Ali will also be very useful. Matthew Forde went wicketless against MI Emirates but he is a very good bowler at this level in this format.

There could be some cloud cover in the evening and humidity levels will increase a little across the game. Expect a high temperature of 24 degrees during the contest.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium has got faster over recent years. Expect minimal movement off the straight but good pace and bounce for the batters to use.
Both teams would be happy to bat or bowl as they have talent throughout their squads. Our prediction is that both sides will choose to bat first if they win the toss.
