Thank goodness for fans, players and management of Rajasthan Royals that they won eight of their first nine games in this year's IPL because from their tenth match onwards, it's all been downhill!

The Royals come into this match after losing successive games against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. Between coach Kumar Sangakarra and captain Sanju Samson, the team must find a way to regain some confidence ahead of the play-offs.

But that will be easier said than done against an in-form and refreshed KKR, particularly as Rajasthan are without Jos Buttler who has returned to England for T20 World Cup preparations.

In fact, the only thing which has been able to stop them recently has been rain which saw their last game washed out without even as much as a toss against Gujarat Titans.

KKR have some imposing players throughout their side with both bat and ball but their undoubted star of the tournament has been all-rounder Sunil Narine who has to be most pundits pick for the Player of the Tournament.

The only slight negative for KKR ahead of this game is the departure of Phil Salt back to England ahead of the T20 World Cup.
