This has been a very entertaining Big Bash League so far this season with only Sydney Sixers maintaining a 100% record ahead of Match 15 and Melbourne Stars the only side to have lost five out of five.
Their two city-rivals, Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Renegades go head to head in this fixture and both come into the clash only two points behind the Sixers at the top of the tree.
Both sides also won their last games so there should be plenty of confidence and self-belief in the home and away dressing rooms at the Sydney Showground Stadium.

Sydney Thunder had the joy of taking on the whipping boys - Melbourne Stars - in their last game and although they only won by 18 runs they were able to get another victory to see their record up to two wins from three games.
England international Sam Billings was the star of the show with the bat in that match with the keeper-batter hitting 72 runs from 39 balls. That said, the team management will still be looking for more from skipper David Warner and West Indies international Sherfane Rutherford who are both yet to make significant contributions.
With the ball, Lockie Ferguson continues to have an excellent BBL debut campaign and pacer Wes Agar backed him up with 3/25 against the Stars. With Daniel Sams and Chris Green also in the attack, there is plenty of depth for Thunder!

There was a famous win for Melbourne Renegades against Perth Scorchers in Match 10 with the men in red getting over the line with two wickets and six balls remaining. In a low-scoring classic, the bowling attack came to the fore but there may be some confidence building required by the batting coaches ahead of this clash.
Tom Rogers was the star with the ball in Match 10 and he rightly took home the Player of the Match award after picking up 3/22. He will be vying with Fergus O'Neill and Kane Richardson to be top dog pacer in this game with Adam Zampa the key spinner.
With the bat, Melbourne Renegades have depth and plenty of stroke-makers. But they need someone to kick on and make a big score in this match after Tim Seifert, Jacob Bethell and Laurie Evans were all dismissed in between 24 and 30.
Siefert has been in top notch form this BBL season where he has scores of 28,37 & 42 in the three matches he has played for the Renegades. He has looked solid at the top scoring runs in the powerplay overs and has been the mainstay batter. We back him to continue his good run of form and score over 21.5 runs in today's match.

There will be no clouds in Sydney across Monday and the temperature will be in the mid-twenties on Monday evening. Humidity will be no higher than 50% across this game.
This pitch is likely to deliver par totals of around 165 in this game but there will be something for the bowlers to work with. The new ball will move off the straight and there will also be some turn for the spinners.
The Renegades have always had the upperhand in Coin Tosses over the Thunder with 11 wins and we back them to win the coin toss in today's match.
The pitch at Sydney Showground is a balanced track that favours the bowlers and moderate scores have been recorded. In the last five BBL games played at this venue the average total match score is 253 runs. We predict a moderate scoring game and the total match score to be under 317.5 runs.
This pitch at the Sydney Showground Stadium is one which always offers some assistance for the bowlers and we expect more of the same again in this fixture. As a result, we predict that both captains will want to bowl first.
This could be a fascinating fixture with both teams hoping to be involved at the top of the table! We are predicting a close contest with both bowling attacks having the upper-hand but with Melbourne Renegades coming out on top!
We are backing Melbourne Renegades to win this match!
