These teams met almost exactly a year ago to the day of this fixture and it was Worcestershire Rapids who came out on top of Hampshire Hawks with a dominant display that saw them win by eight wickets with 82 balls remaining.
The question is - can Worcestershire deliver the same performance and winning margin at the same ground, 12 months on?
Few would expect it to pass as Hampshire have been so strong in this campaign so far and begin the week in second place in Group A thanks to wins over Glamorgan and Essex.
But the home fans will be keen to remind the opposition of what happened last year and a good start for the hosts could see them believe something similar could occur again.
It looks set to be a fantastic fixture on Wednesday.

Worcestershire Rapids beat Essex Eagles by 60 runs on Sunday and the result never really looked in doubt despite the Rapids losing nine wickets across the first innings of the game.
Crucial to their success was the top order contributions from Isaac Mohammed (63) and Kashif Ali (80) in the top three, before skipper Jake Libby (70) and Ethan Brookes (56 runs from 25 balls) cashed in later in the innings.
As a result, there will be plenty of confidence in the batting line-up when this game gets underway and the only member of the top five to miss out last time was Brett D'Oliveira who is a real talent.
With the ball, Brookes followed up his big hitting with 3/52 and Ben Allison continues to enjoy success at this level - both will be key when Worcestershire are bowling in this match.

Hampshire have quality throughout their XI and they look like a side who will be very hard to stop in this year's One-Day Cup.
Against Essex in Southampton in their last match, they bowled out the opposition for 285 from 49.3 overs and every member of their six-man bowling attack took at least one wicket.
New ball pair, South African Kyle Abbott and Eddie Jack both picked up two wickets but it was left-arm spinner Andrew Neal who was the most impressive with 2/44 on only his second List A appearance.
With the bat, a top four with captain Nick Gubbins, India international Tilak Varma and Joe Weatherley is never likely to have an off day. So we can expect some more consistent run-scoring from Hampshire in this match.

Worcester is a fine place for cricket but the boundaries are shorter than many others in the One-Day Cup. Therefore, expect the runs to come fast and a par total to be approaching 350.
It is going to be a stifling hot day in Worcester on Wednesday with the temperature in the high twenties in the final third of the game. Therefore we predict that both sides will want to bowl first.
Worcestershire Rapids impressed in their last game but we expect them to come unstuck this time around. Hampshire Hawks look to have one of the strongest batting and bowling line-ups in the competition and we are predicting a victory for the visitors in Worcester on Wednesday.
We are backing Hampshire Hawks to win.
