IND vs RSA Live Prediction

2025-12-11 22:06:26

India Score Over 134.5 in 15 Overs @ 1.85 (1XBET)

India's score at the end of 12 overs is 94/4, this game is almost done and dusted in favour of South Africa as the asking rate has skyrocketed close to 15 runs per over. Both batters out in the middle are unable to get the boundaries and struggling to get hold of Linde. But expect them to kick on from here on and we predict India to score around 45-50 runs in the next three overs and their score to be over 134 runs in 15 overs.

2025-12-11 19:54:48

South Africa Score Over 144.5 runs in 15 Overs @ 1.90 (1XBET)

South Africa’s score at the end of 10 overs is 90/1, with two set batters on a good batting track and Quinton de Kock taking down the Indian bowlers with superb timing and power hitting. With nine wickets in hand, South Africa will look to increase the scoring rate, and we back them to do so. We predict they will add 50–60 runs in the next five overs and be above 144 by the 15-over mark.

2025-12-11 19:06:46

South Africa Score Over 49.5 in 6 Overs @ 1.80 (1XBET)

South Africa are off to a flying start scoring 8 runs in the first over. It looks a good pitch to bat on with little swing on offer and the ball coming onto the bat nicely, a hard good surface with good bounce. With de Kock up and running smashing a six in the very first over, the intentions are clear from the Proteas batters that they want to attack and we predict their score to be over 49 runs in 6 overs.

India and South Africa are set to renew their battle in New Chandigarh for the second T20I of the series. The hosts made a strong statement in the opening match, taking a 1-0 lead with a commanding all-round effort. Now, they’ll aim to make it 2-0 and assert their dominance further in the series. For South Africa, the challenge is steep against a side that thrives in home conditions. They’ll need something exceptional to turn things around. Right now, India head in as clear favourites.

India Preview

A fiery innings from all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who struck a game-changing 59* from 28 balls, along with an inspired effort by the bowlers, helped India secure a massive 101-run victory in the first T20I.

The batting lineup looks deep and confident from beginning to end and will be counted upon to deliver again. Abhishek Sharma will again aim to strike early in the powerplay. He was India’s spark in the Asia Cup and during the series in Australia, often hitting 30 to 40 runs at a strike rate above 200. One burst of 30 from him can lift the innings right away.

Shubman Gill is set to guide the innings, while Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma should look to push on in the middle overs. Both are strong picks for contributions of 30 plus here.

Lower down, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, and Jitesh Sharma add depth and can chip in with handy 20 to 30 runs if they spend enough time in the middle.

India’s bowling has plenty of strength. Jasprit Bumrah is one of the most effective quicks in the world and will be their main threat in the final overs. Arshdeep Singh works well alongside him, and the pair can cause further damage late in the innings.

Axar Patel and Varun Chakaravarthy add quality to the spin attack, and their spells can shift the match quickly, as it did in the first game. Hardik’s seam overs also give the side a useful fifth option.

India Predicted Playing XI:

Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav(c), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma(w), Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh

South Africa Preview

South Africa had a tough outing in the first T20I and never found the flow they wanted on a pitch that played true. A chase of 176 slipped away fast as they folded for 74, and the batting setup has to show far more control and form in the second match.

Aiden Markram and Quinton de Kock shape the early phase of their lineup, blending intent with the patience needed to build once the opposition tightens its lines.

The middle section is held by Tristan Stubbs, who can spend long stretches at the crease and guide the innings forward while keeping his strike rate moving.

Their batting has depth, with Dewald Brevis, David Miller, and Marco Jansen providing steady support through the latter part of the order. All three have shown they can chip in with bursts of 20 to 30 runs at a strike rate above 130, which adds length to this side.

The bowling unit looked balanced, with Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi capable of delivering strong spells that trouble India at the start and in the closing overs. Jansen has also added pressure through the bounce and pace he finds on this tour, and he should have another good outing. Keshav Maharaj’s spin, however, is not expected to trouble India’s batters, and they will go after him.

South Africa Predicted Playing XI:

Quinton de Kock(w), Aiden Markram(c), Tristan Stubbs, Dewald Brevis, David Miller, Donovan Ferreira, Marco Jansen, Keshav Maharaj, Lutho Sipamla, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje

Weather Conditions

Evening conditions at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh often make for a competitive 20-over contest under lights. Fast bowlers may get some early bounce and carry on the sand-based surface before the ball softens. As overs progress, the outfield tends to slow a bit, offering spinners a chance to make an impact.

The weather will be cold and pleasant, with no rain in sight.

IND vs RSA Pitch Report

Recent T20 games at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium have seen first-innings totals hover around 165–180, while chasing sides have occasionally surpassed 150 thanks to dew settling in. For this fixture, a score of around 180 will keep the chasing side under pressure.

Toss: To Bowl

Most sides prefer chasing in night games in T20 matches in India, and this pattern is likely to continue here.

This T20I series between India and South Africa promised tight competition, but the opening match turned into a dominant display as the hosts grabbed a comfortable 1-0 advantage. India generally control games on home soil, and nothing suggests that will change here. Their batting lineup appears more organized, and their bowling attack carries greater menace in familiar surroundings. For the visitors to fight back, Tristan Stubbs and Dewald Brevis need to produce big scores and accelerate when it matters. Right now, India look better equipped to win this match and take a 2-0 series lead.

We are backing India as the winners of this match.
